SpectroLamps HCL are designed to meet or exceed requirements for various types of AAS and provide low detection limits for your most difficult analysis. Spectrolamps HCL design use quality components, with cathodes manufactured from either the pure form of the element or the element carefully alloyed with another suitable element to achieve significant cost saving without compromising analytical performance. Cathode carrier is manufactured from ceramic to ensure cathode operates at optimal temperature and analytical performance free of spectral interference. The Anode ring fitted to the HCL is chosen over flag type anodes as it centralises the anode allowing for minimal movement, mica discs insulators are incorporated to further hold the cathode structure centrally within the lamp envelope, this along with further ceramic insulating create a mechanically robust lamp with the light focused through the centre of the envelope window. Spectrolamps provide lamps with UV transparent glass for wavelengths above 240nm and quality quartz glass windows for shorter wavelengths.
SpectroLamps HCL’s are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase and carry a 5000mA hour pro-rated replacement warranty. Volatile elements ( Sb, As, Be, Bi, Cd, Ga, Ir, Pb, Li, Hg, P, Se, Sm, Tl ) carry a 3000mA hour pro-rated replacement warranty.
